Air Quality Alert for Tuesday, July 22
An Air Quality Alert has been called for the Louisville metropolitan area for Tuesday, July 22, 2014. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range. The AQI is expected to reach 105 for ozone.

Proposed Change to Two Conditions in the Title V Operating Permit for Rohm and Haas - Louisville Pla
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to public notice two specific conditions in the renewal operating permit to Rohm and Haas - Louisville Plant (resin and coating manufacturing), 4300 Camp Ground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.16. The two specific conditions are S4.c. in Emission Units U-KAC-DryPack, page 57 and U-KAC-D-PKG, page 71; and APCD is changing the duration of the Method 9 Opacity Test. The 30-day public comment period starts June 28, 2014 and ends on July 29, 2014. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

The 30-day public comment period starts June 5, 2014 and ends on July 7, 2014. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07. The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit for Eckart America Corporation (aluminum powder and paste production), 4101 Camp Ground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.03. Permit TV-14-1006-C is being issued to correct the emission standards from Permits 381-90-C and 382-90-C. The 30 day public comment period starts June 5, 2014 an- ends on July 7, 2014. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
