Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board opens a public comment period on March 8, 2006, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with Marathon Petroleum Company, LLC, for an alleged violation of Regulation 2.16 Title V Permit Requirements, Regulation 1.14 Control of Fugitive Particulate Emissions, and Regulation 5.02 Adoption of National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants at the facility located at 4510 Algonquin Parkway.

Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Jonathan L. Trout, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. March 14, 2006. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address "orders @". Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on March 15, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
