Rohm & Haas Construction Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue construction permits to Rohm and Haas Company (chemical manufacturing plant), 4300 Camp Ground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.03.
Also, the District will accept written comments on the technical merits of Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT) determinations for Rohm and Haas Company. The District’s intention is to accept the determinations of RACT for complying with Regulation 5.11 Standards of Performance for Existing Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants and BACT for Regulation 5.12 Standards of Performance for New or Modified Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants.
Drafts of the permits are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling Eva Addison at (502) 574-6005. Written comments will be accepted by Jesse Goldsmith, Engineering Manager, at the District office until 5:00 p.m. January 17, 2007.
