Air Quality Alert for July 29

An Air Quality Alert has been declared for Tuesday, July 29, 2008 for the Louisville area.

The air is expected to be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.  Sensitive groups include active children and adults, and people with lung diseases, such as asthma.  These groups should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

The air quality index is expected to reach 106 on Saturday.  The determining pollutant is particle pollution (PM2.5).
