Fine Particle Air Quality Task Force

Louisville's Fine Particle Air Quality Task Force was formed in May 2007 to develop ideas, methods and strategies for reducing fine particle air pollution (PM2.5) in the Louisville metropolitan area to assist in the development of Louisville's portion of the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for attaining the federal PM2.5 standard. 

The Fine Particle Air Quality Task Force completed its work in December 2007. Its Report and Plan of Action was presented to the Air Pollution Control Board at the Board's January 16, 2008 meeting.
