SIP Advisory Panel
The State Implementation Plan Advisory Panel to the Air Pollution Control Board of Jefferson County (now called the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board) was an advisory body composed of citizens, representatives of local industry and representatives of local environmental organizations, providing advice in revisions of Louisville/Jefferson County's part of the State Implementation Plan (SIP). It served from 1997 through 2003. The State Implementation Plan Advisory Panel was dissolved in 2003. At the end of 2003, the Mayor created the Air Quality Task Force with a similar mission.
