Louisville Metro’s lawn care companies continue to have an incentive to improve the community’s air. Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District’s Lawn Care Rebate program is providing lawn-maintenance professionals $50 per unit in rebates to trade in their old trimmers and backpack blowers for new, low-emission 4-MIX trimmers and 4-MIX backpack blowers. The following dealers will except old equipment at their retail locations for trade-in and provide instant rebates on eligible equipment:

To receive a $50 rebate for commercial blowers and trimmers individuals must:

1. Provide proof of Jefferson County residency (copy of driver’s license).
2. Trade in an old piece of equipment.
3. Purchase a new, low emissions piece of equipment.
