Event Details:
June is a special month for Metro Animal Services and Louisville educators! For the entire month, present your paystub or id showing you work in a school or university located in Jefferson County, and we will give you a 25% discount on our adoption fees.

MAS appreciates the support we receive from our community educators who invite our humane educator and her assistance animals into your classrooms to teach animal safety, dog bite prevention, anti-dogfighting, and responsible pet care. Education is the key to ending pet overpopulation teachers can help spread the message of rescuing pets from shelters rather than getting them from other sources.

Don't forget, small animals make great classroom incentives and teach responsibility and kindness to children who do not learn these pro-social skills at home. Check with us if you would like to adopt a guinea pig or rabbit for your classroom!
