Dr. Bosco has 10 years of experience in animal welfare, including a PhD in American Studies that focused on human-animal interactions in American culture. She also teaches a course in Animal Studies at Bellarmine University and has taught at UofL, in the Jefferson County public school system, and at the University of New Mexico. 

Her classroom assistants include two pit bulls named Drew and Dolly, a guinea pig named Oreo, and a gerbil named Caesar! She is also the proud mother of three children who attend Field Elementary.
