Roll the Dice at Animal House To See if You Have The Luck of the Irish

Monday March 7, 2011

(LOUISVILLE, March 7, 2011) – Animal House Adoption Center is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by letting adopters determine their own discount with the roll of a die. Discounts apply to animals five months old and older. Regular adoption fees for cats, dogs, puppies and kittens range from $50 to $175. Discounts will vary from 10% - 60%. The promotion begins Tuesday, March 8 and ends Sunday, March 20.

All animals come with a full adoption package, which includes spaying or neutering, rabies vaccination and license, preventative vaccinations, deworming, heartworm or feline leukemia test, a microchip and $100 in coupons.

“St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun day of the year that we thought we’d have fun with it, too,” said Jackie Gulbe, assistant director for community relations. “We want all animals to be lucky enough to find their dream home, so we thought this would be a fun way to encourage adoptions.”

People interested in adopting can visit Animal House Adoption Center at 3516 Newburg Road, 473-PETS (7387) or PetSmart, 3580 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy.
