Northshore Animal Rescue League will bring their "shelter on wheels" adoption vehicle. Animals from all six agencies will be available for adoption, and the public is invited to learn more about these agencies that, collectively, are working to end pet homelessness by ensuring that every adoptable pet in Louisville finds a permanent, loving home.
From the beginning of March to mid-May, Tour For Life will travel the length of the United States from North to South and East to West in four "shelters on wheels," helping shelter and rescue groups, in 52 cities and 26 states bring awareness to their organizations and find homes for the adorable adoptable animals in their care.
The tour was conceived by Animal League America – the world's largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization – 14 years ago and is responsible for placing tens of thousands of pets into loving and permanent homes. Last year, Tour For Life 2013 saved the lives of over 2,000 animals across the country.
