Enjoy a cool ice cream cone while helping your furry friends at Metro Animal Services by visiting Bruster’s Ice Cream Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7. Bruster’s Ice Cream, located at 700 Lyndon Lane, will donate $1 to MAS for every waffle cone they sell. The goal is to generate $1500.

Picture People Portrait Studio Offers Free Photos for “Pet People’s” Pets
The “pup-perazzi” have cameras ready to take free photos of your furry friends! Picture People Portrait Studio in the Mall St. Matthews (Cheesecake Factory entrance) will offer free 8x10 or 10 x 13 portraits of family pets on Sunday, June 7, from 12 to 6 p.m. In support of this offer, Picture People asks that you donate an item to Metro Animal Services.

While the Beatles will be landing on the river this weekend, the Beagles have landed at Metro Animal Services! In honor of the overwhelming Beagle frenzy that has taken over MAS, the adoption fees for all Beagles six months and older have been reduced to $70 until May 30, 2009.
