Court Referred Community Service Hours
If you need to earn community service hours, you can call us to volunteer. We generally prefer people who need 40 or more hours, but we leave it to our discretion. You must have an up-to-date tetanus shot as well. You will be required to pay a $13 premium to the state for worker's compensation in case of injury and willing to submit to a background check. You can download these forms and bring them with you to orientation.
In order to earn hours with us, we ask all workers to attend an orientation session. You can check our calendar for the next orientation date. You will be required to sign in and out each day and keep track of your hours using the attached form (click here).
Your duties will include cage cleaning and animal care, clerical work, interacting with the public, grooming, facility maintenence, and related duties.
If you would like to schedule hours, please contact David Neeson at 574-5556.
