How can we improve your city website?

MAS has the following age requirements in place for volunteers - you must be 16 years old in order to volunteer at MAS without a parent. Youth volunteers age 14 and 15 must have a parent with them at all times while they are volunteering. Please contact the volunteer coordinator at 574-5390 for more information.

Some ways youth can help MAS without coming to the shelter include:

Donation drives
Fundraisers
Adoption Clinics
Begin a school club - Ballard High School began BARC (Ballard Animal Relief Club) in 2004.

All volunteers must first attend a volunteer orientation and fill out required paperwork before any volunteer service can be performed. Please check our calendar for upcoming orientation dates and call the volunteer coordinator at 574-5556 to register or ask questions.
