Cufflinks handcrafted by Louisville artist
Looking for a unique holiday gift that will also help keep the city clean and green? The Louisville Cufflinks, featuring the city’s symbol, the Fleur-de-lis, are on sale now at Regalo, a local gift shop. The silver cufflinks are a fundraiser for Brightside, Louisville’s non-profit agency dedicated to keeping the city clean, green and beautiful.
“I’ve owned a pair for a few months – and people always notice them,” Abramson said. “This is a great opportunity to own a pair of handmade cufflinks while also supporting Brightside.”
The cufflinks are $65, with $10 of each sale being donated to Brightside. Louisville artist JD Dotson, who co-owns Regalo with his partner Jon Freels, made a limited set of 100 pair of cufflinks.
Regalo has two stores, 980 Barrett Ave. in the Highlands and in the Galt House Hotel downtown.
“This is a great way to give back to my city,” Dotson said. “Brightside is a great organization – and its work is visible across Louisville.”
