Brown-Forman Greens Louisville with 2500 Trees
In a west Louisville neighborhood earlier this week, Brightside planted the 2,500th tree paid for with support from the Brown-Forman Corporation. Mayor Jerry Abramson today recognized the Louisville’s company’s 20-year support of Brightside with a presentation to Brown-Forman Chairman Owsley Brown.

Louisville Expands Anti-Litter Efforts
Mayor Jerry Abramson today said Louisville’s anti-litter efforts are expanding to “kick butts and take names” – with a new campaign aimed at reducing cigarette litter and a new hotline for citizens to report litterers.
