Finance 4 U

 
Finance 4 U is a financial literacy program designed to teach participants basic money management skills in the areas of budgeting, banking, investing, spending wisely, and developing a savings plan. Applications are currently being accepted for a training course which begins April 26, 2011 and meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 11:30 am or from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

The training program has the following eligibility requirements to apply:

- Jefferson County resident with a household income at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines
- Provide proof of income and social security cards for everyone in the household
- Must attend classes once a week for six weeks
- Must be willing to follow-up with a CAP case manager for up to three months after the course ends to determine progress
