Retired & Senior Volunteer Program

Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership's largest senior service program is RSVP. Joining with Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership in January 1999 (with over 800 active volunteers). RSVP, serving Jefferson County since 1973, provides opportunities for persons 55 and over to have a continuing positive impact on their community through meaningful volunteer projects.

Currently, RSVP volunteers serve public service and non-profit organizations as:
Tutors for All Ages
Meal Deliverers to Shut-Ins
Mentors for Youths in Schools
Providers of Services for Families in Personal Crisis Situations
Performing Artists to Schools and Nursing Homes
Natural Disaster / Home Fire Case Workers
Blood Mobile Attendants
Armed Services Veterans' Caregivers
Adult Day Care and Hospital Helpers
Soup Kitchen and Homeless Shelter Workers
Caregivers to Medically Fragile Children
Neighborhood Clean-up and Gardeners
Technical and Clerical Support Workers
