Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

R.S.V.P recruits, supports and promotes recognition of adult volunteers age 55 and over for their volunteer service with affiliated not-for-profits, public service and proprietary care facilities in efforts to have positive impact on community needs. R.S.V.P. was established in Jefferson County in 1973 by Metro United Way, then joined Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership in January 1999, and moved to Louisville Metro Human Services in 2010.
Currently, over 700 R.S.V.P. volunteers serve nearly 80 sites of public service and non-profit organizations.
