Winter Heaters
The Winter Heaters program offers space heaters on loan to individuals and families during the cold winter months. Households may receive a space heater when their main heating source is in need of repair or replacement. Households requesting the use of a space heater must meet CSBG eligibility guidelines. Each household is eligible for one heater for every four household members. The program operates from November through March.
This project is funded, in part, under a contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the Community Services Block Grant Act of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
