About Neighborhood Place
In November 2013, Neighborhood Place will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of its first site – First Neighborhood Place at 1503 Rangeland Road – which served as a pilot multi-service center to increase access to services. Today, eight Neighborhood Place locations, along with two satellite sites, provide one-stop centers bringing together Louisville Metro Government (including Community Services and Revitalization and Public Health and Wellness), Jefferson County Public Schools, Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Seven Counties. Visit http://www.louisvilleky.gov/NeighborhoodPlace/ to learn more.
This May marks the special anniversary for two Neighborhood Place locations – South Central celebrates its 10th anniversary, opening in 2003, and Cane Run celebrates its 15th anniversary, opening in 1998. Also notable this month is the 17th anniversary of 810 Barret Neighborhood Place, opening in 1996, and the 16th anniversary of South Jefferson, opening in 1997.
