Note: The Summer Food Service Program for children begins June 10, 2013. The funding agencies require that a separate press release is sent for the Open sites and Closed Enrolled sites so see below for the Open sites information.
|Children's Summer Food Service Begins June 10, 2013|
The Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership (CAP), part of the Department of Community Services and Revitalization, is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for children is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is a pass through grant from the Kentucky Department of Education. CAP is part of the Department of Community Services and Revitalization and is funded, in part, under a contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the Community Services Block Grant Act of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
