In the Simplest Terms & the Most Convenient Definitions is an exhibition of artwork by students from the current BFA Senior Seminar in The Fine Arts Department at Indiana University Southeast (IUS). Inspired by the 1985 John Hughes film The Breakfast Club, the IUS students have established a connection between their emerging identities as artists and the film’s narrative of overcoming societal labels as defined by individual character, style and taste as well as artistic pursuit.
