Event Details:
MSD, Metro Parks, and Living Lands and Waters are seeking volunteers to improve habitat conditions along the Butchertown Greenway corridor.
Volunteers are needed to help with planting of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers; the removal of the Asian exotic species bush honeysuckle; and to gather litter along the corridor. Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes. If you are interested in planting, please feel free to bring a spade shovel.Gloves, Water, and necessary tools, will be provided.
Participants are asked to meet at the Floodwall on the Butchertown Greenway adjacent to MSD’s Beargrass Pump Station on the corner of Story Ave. and Brownsboro Rd.
