Event Details:
The Garvin Gate Blues Festival is the largest neighborhood street music festival in Louisville, Kentucky and the public is invited. The free event is presented by Four Roses Bourbon and The Garvin Gate Neighborhood Association, and is sponsored by Louisville Metro Government District 6 Councilman David James. Proceeds from sponsorships and vendor sales benefit the Garvin Gate Neighborhood Association and the Old Louisville Preservation District.

A celebration of the blues and the arts, The Garvin Gate Blues Festival is held the second weekend of October, and attracts a multi-racial, intergenerational audience. The two-day event takes place this year on Friday, October 11, from 6:30 - 11:15 pm, and Saturday, October 12, from 2 - 11:15 pm at Garvin Place and Oak Street, between 4th & 6th Streets, two miles south of the Ohio River and one mile south Broadway and downtown Louisville.
