Valentine Card Letterpress Workshop
With hound dog press

Farmington is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a fantastic, one of a kind workshop on Saturday, February 9th.
Join us as Louisville’s own Hound Dog Press demonstrates the art of linoleum block carving.
Children will be able to create their own holiday card and learn about the timeless art of letterpress.
Workshop Basics:
*Saturday, February 9th 12-4pm
*Children of all ages are invited (adults too!) to attend.
*With the help of Hound Dog Press staff, participants will create their own design to be used on the card
and carve it with special tools into their own linoleum block.
*Once the carving is complete, children will get to create 10 of their own Valentine cards
on special cardstock and use an original 1930’s tabletop press.
*All materials are covered in the workshop price.
Tickets are $25.00 and sold on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
