Event Details:
You got into healthcare to make a difference in people’s lives. Your intentions remain good, but the culture and climate of healthcare are challenging your ability to consistently maintain a healing presence for your patients. Mounting stress and fatigue may be affecting your enjoyment of your career, family, or life in general. Your health may even begin to suffer as a result.

In this 2-hour workshop, we will discuss how to maintain your will to practice and strategies to stay present and sane in an increasingly difficult healthcare environment. Armed with some key information and a couple of important skills, you will reconnect with why you got into medicine in the first place, and learn how to stay steadfast in the sea of constant change in which you work and play today.

First Monday each month, 6-8pm, $35

About the moderator:

Dr. Buecker is a conventionally trained, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in Louisville, Kentucky. After completing medical school and residency at the University of Louisville, he received specialty training in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

With a strong belief in the importance of the connection of mind, body, and spirit in health and disease, and a deep heartfelt interest in addressing pain, anxiety, and health concerns from a whole person perspective, he sought additional professional training, and in January of 2013 opened Wellness 360. In that time, he and his staff have helped more than 800 people find clarity and peace in their lives.
