
A new 5K run/walk to kick off this year’s Light Up Louisville activities. Called the “Run Run Rudolph 5K Run/Walk,” it is at 3 p.m. The 5K starts and ends on Jefferson Street between 5th and 6th and goes through downtown Louisville.
“Light Up Louisville brings families together like no other event in town and we are excited that Baptist Health is adding this Healthy Hometown activity,” said Mayor Abramson. “The 5K will be a great way for families to get a good dose of exercise on the day after Thanksgiving.”
Fee to participate is $20 for adults; $10 for children under 12 and $25 for adults and $10 for children after November 23.

Online registration closes on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 11:59 p.m.
Participants will receive a high quality t-shirt and awards will be given to top three male and female overall finishers in several age groups.
Proceeds from Run Run Rudolph 5K Run will benefit the Baptist Hospital Foundation which supports special patient care and wellness services provided through our community’s Baptist Hospitals.
