Inmate Telephone Calls

Messages and incoming calls are not accepted for inmates. In emergency situations you should contact Classification at (502) 574-2123.

The best way to contact someone who is incarcerated in Louisville Metro Corrections is to write a letter or visit him or her on the scheduled visiting day.

Telephones are provided for outgoing calls in each dorm or dayroom. These are collect calls only. The party that accepts the call will be billed $1.85 for every 15 minute call. The phone will automatically disconnect after 15 minutes. All calls are monitored and recorded.

Any person wishing to block a call from an inmate will need to call (502) 574-2259.
