Adult Entertainment Ordinance Ruled Constitutional
Friday October 5, 2007
The Kentucky Court of Appeals, in a ruling released today, declared Louisville Metro’s adult entertainment ordinance “[state] constitutionally sound.” This effectively concludes a multi-year legal challenge by Kentucky Restaurant Concepts of the Metro Council Ordinance No. 21, Series 2004, regulating the operation of adult entertainment businesses in Louisville Metro.
“When this issue arose, I promised the community that we would fight this challenge as hard as possible. We have kept that promise,” said County Attorney Irv Maze.
