Who we are
Kentucky Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) empowers and assists Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education.
What we do
SMP recruits and trains retired professional volunteers such as doctors, nurses, accountants, investigators, law enforcement, attorneys, and teachers.
SMP volunteers are constantly out in the community conducting educational presentations and providing support to seniors during Medicare issues.
We are always looking for more volunteers! For more information about how to get involved call Lauren Anderson, Community Outreach Coordinator at 502.574.6164. For a volunteer application, please click here (PDF).
