The Specialty Clinic diagnoses and treats sexually transmitted diseases which includes syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, genital warts, etc.  HIV testing is also offered at this clinic.

Patients will be seen for STD exams & HIV testing on a walk-in basis.  FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Please arrive early to be sure that you will be seen.

Monday 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
*Syphilis and HIV Testing 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
*Test Results Counseling 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tues.- Fri. 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m
*Syphilis and HIV Testing 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 P.m.
*Test results Counseling 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Syphilis and Confidential HIV testing is $20.00
Anonymous HIV testing is Free

HIV/STD test results are back in two weeks.  Results are NOT GIVEN over the phone. Please bring your HIV TEST CARD to get your results. A Valid Picture ID is required to receive a copy of your test results.

HIV Test results are not valid after three months.  

*Due to shortage of staff or heavy patient flow, normal hours of exams and testing may be subject to change.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided funds to the Louisville Metro Health Department through the Kentucky Department of Health to eliminate syphilis from Jefferson County.

Signs and symptoms of syphilis may include: 

  • sores (chancers) on the mouth, genitals, breasts or fingers (usually firm, round, small and painless)
  • a rash anywhere on the body
  • flu-like symptoms
