Louisville is named Most Livable City by the U.S. Conference of Mayors
The City Livability Awards recognize work in improving the overall quality of life in a city, and Louisville's award was based on the work of the Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Movement (MHHM)! “This award reinforces what we’ve known all along – that Louisville is a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Mayor Abramson said. Congratulations to our 2008-2009 Mini-Grant Recipients!
Today Mayor Abramson awarded 23 community organizations with Healthy Hometown Mini-Grants totaling nearly $70,000. The grants ranged from $2,000 to $5,000 and will be used for physical activity and nutrition programming throughout the community. View a complete listing of our 2008
