Diabetes Classes Being Offered by Public Health & Wellness

Individuals interested in learning about and managing diabetes are invited to attend a series of three classes being offered by the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. Classes begin Wednesday, May 14 at the Center for Health Equity, 2422 W. Chestnut Street.
Classes are free and attendance is encouraged for all three sessions. All classes begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Phone 574-6663 for reservations or for more information. Class size is limited so please call to make a reservation. The class schedule is as follows:

The Department of Public Health and Wellness also has a free support group for people with diabetes and their families or caretakers. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30–11:00 AM at the Park DuValle Community Health Center at 3015 Wilson Avenue.
