Diabetes Classes Being Offered by Public Health & Wellnes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – (May 16, 2008) Individuals interested in learning about and managing diabetes are invited to attend a series of four free classes being offered by the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. Classes begin Thursday, June 5 at the Fairdale Community Library, 10616 W. Manslick Road.
Classes are free and attendance at the entire series of four classes is encouraged. All classes begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Phone

The Department of Public Health and Wellness also has a free support group for people with diabetes and their families or caretakers. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Park DuValle Community Health Center at 3015 Wilson Avenue.
