Bring the family for this free Healthy Hometown event! Please call (502) 574-5011 or contact us with any questions regarding the Mayor's Healthy Hometown Subway Fresh Fit Hike, Bike & Paddle.

Canoe and kayak rentals available. For more information contact our event partner River City Canoe & Kayak, 502.210.7626  or info@rcckonline.com. Reservations must be made prior to the event.


Participants are encouraged to be “green” and bring their own water bottles which they will be able to fill in Waterfront Park, part of the Louisville Water Company’s Pure Tap To Go program.

The Hike, Bike and Paddle takes place at the top of
Waterfront Park's Great Lawn at E. Witherspoon Street near the dancing fountain. Parking is available in many areas around Waterfront Park.

Note: Helmets are highly recommended whenever you bike. However, you MUST wear a helmet if you are under 18 years old and you are riding in any Metro Park. See our bike laws page to learn more.
