Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Mayor Abramson created an Affordable Housing Trust Fund Task Force, after it was recommended as an objective in his Comprehensive Housing Strategy and Kentucky General Assembly did not support the creation of a local affordable housing trust fund.

This group is charged with finding creative ways to create a sustainable and renewable fund to provide affordable housing opportunities throughout the Louisville community. Recommendations will be sent to the mayor by the end of the year.

The task force is broken down into three committees: Revenue, Governance and Program.
