The role of the Citizens Advocate is to assist citizens that wish to file a complaint against a police officer.  The advocate can accompany an individual to the Professional Standards Unit (PSU) and assist them in filing the initial sworn affidavit of complaint.  Additional guidance and information is readily available through the Citizens Advocate.  The Advocate can be reached at 574-HELP.
