Contractors are required to make a good faith effort to reach those goals in construction and construction-related projects by using minority, female, and handicapped owned businesses as suppliers and subcontractors.

The Good Faith Effort Paperwork (pdf) is included in construction and construction-related bid invitations. This paperwork must be completed and submitted timely to be eligible for award of that contract. If this paperwork is not submitted timely, or not completed, the bidder will be non-responsive and not eligible for award of that contract.
