Community Services focuses on providing assistance to children, youth, adults, and the elderly at different periods in their lives.  Our ultimate goal is to strengthen families, because strong families create strong communities.

We strengthen families by proving stabilizing aid as they move toward self-sufficiency, and provide leadership and support in policy and advocacy arenas through community projects and collaborations. We expand these efforts by funding non-profit organizations that focus on those same populations and goals. 

Congrats to Joi Boyd (left) and Rebecca DeJarnatt (right) for being named recipients of the 2011 R Shashu Tucker Youth Advocate Award. The Louisville Urban League recognized these two individuals for continually making a positive impact on improving the lives of young people in our community. We are fortunate to have these two individuals as long-time CSR team members -- Joi serving in the Education, Training and Employment program and Rebecca in the Office of Youth Development.
