Karen Refugees

Karen refugees began coming to the Louisville Metro area in 2006 from  southeastern Burma (Myanmar) and western Thailand. For over 50 years the Karen have suffered from almost continuous warfare and oppression. (More information)

Americana Community Center The Americana Community Center is a non-profit organization, which provides a spectrum of services for the many diverse residents of Metro Louisville.  These services enable people to discover and utilize resources to build strong families, create a safe, supportive community, and realize their individual potential.
