Office For Women

The Louisville Metro Office for Women (OFW) uses advocacy and policy to improve the status of all women in the Louisville Metro area and is part of the Advocacy and Public Policy Division within the Louisville Metro Housing and Family Services Department .

The OFW's broad focus includes issues that affect women's physical and mental health, social and economic well-being, employment, housing, political involvement, legal issues, and safety issues such as domestic violence and abuse. We also work to ensure that all services and activities are culturally competent and sensitive to acknowledge and respect the growing diversity in Louisville Metro.
