The Office for International Affairs maintains flags representing over 150 nations and cultures from around the globe. National flags are important cultural and patriotic symbols, relfecting the heritage of the people they represent. The incorporation of international flags in events and ceremonies can greatly enhance programming.
When planning an international event, our office can assist you by loaning our international flags for your use as well as explaining protocol for the proper display of flags for your particular program.
Flags, poles and bases will be provided seperately and should be returned seperately. OIA will not assemble the flags but can demonstrate how to do so when collected if necessary.
Our flag poles and bases are kept at an off site location and due to this we require 30 days notice for any flag requests.
