Serving Our Community

Louisville Water Company is part of a community parternship called Smile Kentucky! to provide free screening and dental treatment each year for elementary school children in Metro Louisville and surrounding counties.

Our company also sponsors the Tap Into Fitness! program to improve the overall health and fitness of children in elementary school.  Tests show that the program helped reduce the percentage of children who were overweight, and increased the children's knowledge of nutrition and physical fitness.

Louisville Water Company is involved in several other community programs, often involving volunteer work by our employees.  Our employees also contribute generously to charitable causes each year by donating to Water For People, Metro United Way and the Fund for the Arts.
