Chilled Pure Tap® Served at the Downtown Chowdown

Louisville Water Company’s Pure Tap® tastes so good, people stood in line to get a drink at LDMD’s Downtown Chowdown. The event was held in the National City Tower courtyard on Friday, September 25. LWC employees offered chilled Pure Tap® while touting the benefits of fluoride, our 27-ounce BPA-free water bottle, and the great value and great taste of LWC tap water.

Over 900 participants received the BPA-free bottle filled with Pure Tap®. The line moved quickly while outstretched hands waited to receive the cool, clear water. Visitors were surprised to learn that an average LWC residential customer* can fill a 16-ounce water bottle at home 34 times for a single penny – now that’s value!

*Based on the average residential consumption of 6,000 gallons per month.
