2010 Bluecoats Recognized
On December 8, 2010 the Bluecoats of Louisville, a group of Louisville Area Businessmen that was founded in 1957, recognized members of the Louisville Fire Department at a Luncheon at the Bristol in Downtown Louisville.

Mayor, Congressman, Chief Unveil New Fire Boat
Mayor Jerry Abramson, Louisville Fire Chief Greg Frederick and U.S. Representative John Yarmuth, (KY-3) this morning unveiled the Louisville Fire Department’s new Fire and Rescue Boat.

Mayor, Fire Chief Break Ground on Ashland Ave. Firehouse
With a ceremonial turn of the shovel, Mayor Jerry Abramson, Louisville Fire Chief Greg Frederick and other local officials broke ground on the new firehouse located at 501 West Ashland Avenue in the Beechmont neighborhood this morning. Construction on the Engine 10 station is expected to begin in the next few days.
