Committee Description
This committee processes legislation related to land use. Considers decisions of the planning commission for compliance with Statutory requirements using the record of decision provided by the commission. Proposes binding elements and alternative findings and conclusions on rezonings where appropriate. Considers requests for street closures, name changes and related matters. Considers amendments to the Land Use Development Code. Considers appeals from the decisions of the Planning Commission including applications for conditional use permits, subdivisions, site plan reviews and final plats.
