Louisville – Councilwoman Attica Scott (D-1) is inviting residents of District 1 to learn more about three very important programs in the community when the next “Ask Attica” gets underway on Tuesday, August 27th.
“This is our regular Community meeting where you have a chance to come out and let me know about any concerns or issues you feel we need to address,” says Scott. “I want to make sure we are on the right track in moving the district forward.”
Representatives of Metro Government agencies community organizations will be on hand to answer questions or address concerns. Those agencies include: the 2nd Division of LMPD, IPL, MSD, Community Services and Revitalization, Economic Growth and Innovation, Air Pollution Control District, TARC, the Housing Partnership, Cane Run Area Neighborhood Place and the Lake Dreamland Fire Department.
“I want to make sure that everyone in District 1 has access to their Councilperson and it is important that we hear from the public about matters they believe are important,” says Scott. “In Southwest Louisville, many folks are concerned about economic development, air pollution and quality parks.”
“Ask Attica” will be held at the Highland Park Missionary Church, 3500 Shanks Lane from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
