Walnut Street Rhythm & Blues Band will headline an evening of music in Algonquin Park July 13th

Louisville – With the summer in full swing, Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge invites District 3 residents to come out and enjoy the next free summer concert at Algonquin Park on Saturday, July 13th.
“We have had a great response to our free concerts this year and I want everyone in the district to come out and have some fun and enjoy a summer night of music,” says Woolridge.
The July Concert will feature the Legendary Walnut Street Rhythm & Blues Band with vocalist Artie Wells. The concert starts at 6:00pm.
MAGIC 101.3 will be broadcasting live at every concert from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The station will be giving away free prizes during its broadcast. .
Free water from the Water Company Bubbler-bring a water bottle.
Food Vendors are also part of the Summer Concert series this year. In July, look for delicious barbeque sold by Boss Hog.
Woolridge began sponsoring the concerts last year to highlight Algonquin Park and bring more summer fun to the community.
“We will have one additional concert in August,” says Woolridge. “So bring a lawn chair, your family or a friend and just enjoy the evening.”
