How District 7 Spends Your Tax Dollars

Councilmembers are allocated funding for the following three accounts in each Metro Budget:
  • Operating Budget - $30,000 is appropriated for general office expenses.  Click here to view all District 7 office account expenditures since January 2003.
  • Capital Infrastructure Accounts (CIF) - $100,000 to be used toward captial projects.  In fiscal year 2012, all CIF funding for Republican Districts was given to the Department of Public Works and Assets to pave the most poorly rated roads in those districts.  Click here to view District 7 capital projects since 2003.
  • Neighborhood Development Funds (NDF) - $75,000 discretionary spending account.  Click here to see how District 7 NDF have been used since 2003.

 

In 2011, Councilman Fleming allocated $18,805 to the City of St. Matthews to help re-instate the St. Matthews Quiet Zone.
